Three years after signing the FASEP program with the City of Plateau in Abidjan and the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, the project is entering its operational phase. Nexiode is deploying its remote management solution to support the modernization of public lighting.
121 connected lights, remotely controlled
In the Plateau neighborhood, 121 lights are now equipped with communication modules and monitored by the Nexiode platform. The system enables:
remote control of light points,
adjusting lighting levels according to usage,
real-time network monitoring,
easier maintenance thanks to automatic alerts.
Objective: to reduce energy consumption, improve service quality for users, and prepare urban infrastructure for future connected services.
An international benchmark for Nexiode
The FASEP Abidjan project is Nexiode's first international reference. It demonstrates the platform's ability to adapt to different urban contexts, both in Africa and Europe, and confirms the relevance of an open, robust, and scalable approach to smart lighting.
